Top Indian spinner and currently the world’s number one test bowler as per ICC Men’s World Test Cricket rankings, Ravichandran Ashwin, has come up with a brand new talk show for cricket lovers along with legendary Indian sports commentator, Harsh Bhogle.
The 30-second-long trailer of the show was released yesterday which shows both Ashwin and Bhogle announcing the launch of the six-episode-long talk show in a jovial mood with broad smiling faces. Interestingly, the show is named ‘Kutti Stories with Ash,’ where kutti means small. And the chat show reportedly is about many small unknown stories from all the previous editions of ODI cricket world cups where Bhogle and Ashwin would discuss team India’s performance in those various editions.
The six-episode series, which will be broadcast in English on Ashwin’s YouTube channel, has been produced by BKT Tyres. The 37-year-old cricketer, who has been picked for the upcoming cricket World Cup in October after a long gap of more than a year, wrote a long caption while dropping the trailer of the show on social media. In the caption, he highlighted Bhogle’s immense experience and promised his fans and viewers a great “trip down memory lane” as both of them discussed events and stories revolving around India’s participation and performances in the previous world cups.
Considering that the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 is all set to begin in less than two weeks from now, the show is sure to be a hit with viewers. As for Ashwin, who is currently a part of the Indian squad that is playing Australia in the ongoing three-match series, it is a great opportunity to make a glorious comeback and prove his mettle once again.
