For instance, if you like to get moving in the morning, then it would help that you work out during that time before the time gets away from you throughout the day. Is it possible for you to wake up 30 minutes earlier or go to work 30 minutes later? Will you be able to extend your lunch break in the middle of the day to give yourself a brisk walk? Excuse #2: I’m always busy, I don’t have the time to exercise.

Excuse #3: I’ll feel embarrassed if people see me sweating in the gym
A lot of people don’t want to go to the gym because of the scary thought that people will see them sweating in the gym. Unless you’re the type of person who has a toned body that needs to be flaunted in public. However, you must not allow your pride to control your life with the excuses that you are terrified to be seen until you’ve cut some pounds.

- People don’t really care about you. In reality, people in the gym don’t care about you looking sweaty. Most of them are not judgmental and you have the same goal to get fit, lose or gain some pounds. So, stop overthinking! At the end of the day, no one is watching you because all of them are busy focusing on themselves and doing their own routines. Focus on yourself instead. Remember, not all people can maintain their “Hollywood style” while they’re working out.
- Get your best friend to join you. If you still don’t like going to the gym alone, try bringing a friend or your best friend to keep you company, or if you want it to be more fun, get a team together so you can work out as a group. If not possible, you can try making new friends. It’s always nice to have someone beside you who can also motivate you when you’re thinking of getting an excuse for not exercising.
