4-  Nausea

Since these supplements are used to lose weight and reduce fat production they tend to reduce the appetite of the person consuming it, which may lead to nausea and vomiting.

5-  Cancer

These medicines have a number of chronic side effects and diseases from which one is cancer. An example of it is the Belviq Lawsuit, which is about a weight-loss supplement called Belviq. This lawsuit was filed by a lady, against the developers of the supplement. Since it tends to increase cancer risks. FDA did not approve it at first because of safety concerns of the public as it consisted of Lorcaserin. Lorcaserin, which showed aggressive and rare tumors among rats while testing. As for humans, these tumors turn into breast and brain cancer.

6-  Headaches

Due to the presence of bupropion and naltrexone (Contrave) the person using these pills can go through headaches, restlessness, dizziness and dry mouth.

7-  Suicidal behavior

Due to the presence of Naltrexone HCL, there are increased risks of suicidal thoughts that may lead to suicidal behavior or self-harm. It is due to the neuropsychiatric issues and effects it causes.

8-  Stroke

Qsymia, which is used to curb your appetite, can be very dangerous for people with migraines and heart issues. It causes trigger strokes, heart attacks and severe headaches.
